A Redemption of Sorts
There is truly some justice in the world! The developers at Sosius, the inaccessible website I ranted about in my last posting, has taken my concerns about accessibility to heart. Two days after my initial experience with them they have added a number of new features which now make the site accessible to both sighted as well as blind users.
This is quite rare in the internet world, or so I've noticed. Mostly I've received comments that amounted to, "gee, sorry, no we haven't done that. And we don't plan to. Thanks for asking." Given the alacrity with which these folks have taken my suggestions and concerns to heart, I am wholeheartedly endorsing them and encouraging any and all to try the site.
Sosius is an online productivity website, with areas for file storage and sharing, instant messaging, blogging, task management, calendaring, the works. It's designed for personal as well as business use. I'll be using Sosius for joint work on the Maggie-Della stories as well as stuff related to my business and my family. The site is still being developed and there are bugs to work out, but my experience to date has been extremely positive.
Right now the site is free and I hope they keep at least a portion of it that way.
Here's the site:

Pay them a visit and tell them I sent you!
